About
In Jakob, two male performers enter an intense elliptical journey that gradually reveals the complexity of their interdependent relationship. A seemingly playful choreography investigates why we limit our availability and our capacity to open up, support, and accept one another.
Through metaphorical images, symbolic gestures, and an emotionally detached movement language, Jakob continues Tony Tran’s research into power and identity in human relationships. The work asks how the person we relate to shapes our choices, behaviour, and encounters with others.
